Copper cable solder lugs

Type: PM (TU 3449-033-97284872-2006)

  • Designed for terminating cables and wires with copper cores by soldering or crimping
  • Material: M1 grade electrical copper sheets
  • Plating: electrolytic tin-bismuth plating
  • The tack weld in the contact rounding area designed for connecting the cable core is soldered in such a way that the lug barrel becomes a solid monolithic structure
  • The PM lug (KVT) design offers an opportunity to use crimping as an alternative to soldering or to combine the tho techniques
  • The inner surface of the lug barrel has circular transverse notches that add to mechanical strength and quality of the connection
  • Thanks to the weld design, the orientation of the lug in the die during crimping does not matter and the lugs can be crimped over the top of the weld itself
  • Special series of high-precision “KVT” dies for crimping with PGR-300, PGRs-300, GWP-300 (KVT) hydraulic presses
