• Designed for connecting single-core cables:
• with cross-linked polyethylene insulation by means of a copper or aluminum wire shield
• rated for 6 and 10 kV
• Conforms to the requirements of GOST 13781.0-86
• Types of installed cables: (A)PvP, (A)PvV, (A)PvBP, (A)PvBV, (A)PvPu, (A)PvPg, (A)PvPug, (A)PvP2g, (A)PvPu2g
• Presence of stress-grading tubes ensures reliable operation of high-voltage cable joints and even electric field equalization across the cross-sectional area of the semiconductor shield
• Hot-melt adhesive applied onto the inner surfaces of the protective enclosure tightly seals the cable joint after installation
• The cable shields are restored with aluminum shielding tape and jumper wire. The jumper wire formed from the copper wires of the cable shield is connected using copper cord end terminals. The cord end terminals are not included in the kit and must be ordered separately
• The cable joint kit is universal and allows you to use both crimping cord end terminal and bolted connectors
• The bolted connectors are taped using a special sealant that fills voids and irregularities in the places where the bolts snap and ensures even electric field equalization
• The package content is sufficient for installation of three cable phases

• When mounting ground nodes on cables armoured with steel or aluminum, use a KMBP ground kit classified for the selected cable joint.
• Note: 1PST-10-800(B) cable joints are designed for installation only on cables with aluminum conductive cores
• Installation tools: PG propane burner, NMB-6 tool kit for snapping sheer bolt heads and installation of shear bolt connectors, cable stripping tool kit
