• Presence of a stress-grading tubes ensures reliable operation of high-voltage cable joints and even electric field equalization across the cross-sectional area of the semiconductor shields of cable cores
• The insulating tube and isolators are made of tracking-resistant, UV-resistant, and weather-resistant brick-red material
• The outdoor-installation cable joints are equipped with cable core isolators that increase the leakage current distance and create dry zones on the cable joint surface
• Hot-melt adhesive applied onto the inner surfaces of the heatshrink breakout and nontracking tubes tightly seals the cable joint after installation
• The ground conductor is formed using the copper wire shield of the cable and is terminated with a crimp lug.
• The ground conductor crimp lug is not included in the cable joint kit
• The standard configuration includes a constant-force roll spring used to attach the ground wire to the armouring tape.
• When mounting ground nodes on cables armoured with steel or aluminum, use a KMBP ground kit classified for the selected cable joint.
• The cable joint kit is universal and can be used both with crimping and bolt lugs
