Termination cable joint kits
Type: (3+1)PKTp-1
- Designed for terminating 4-core cables:
- with plastic insulation (PVC/polyester)
- w/ or w/o armouring
- rated for up to 1 kV
- w/ a neutral conductor with smaller cross-sectional area
- Conforms to the requirements of GOST 13781.0-86
- Specially designed for cables w/ a neutral conductor with smaller cross-sectional area and equipped with all the necessary parts and materials to ensure easy and high-quality installation
- Types of installed cables w/ a neutral conductor with smaller cross-sectional area: (A)VVG, NYM, NYY, (A)PvVG, (A)VBbShv, (A)VBV, AVVB, (A)VVBG, (A)PvBbShV, (A)PvBbShP
- The kit is universal and can be used for mounting cable joints during both indoor and outdoor installation.
- The range of cross-sectional area indicated in the name of the cable joint kit indicates the range of cable phase cores sizes
- Hot-melt adhesive applied onto the inner surfaces of the breakout and cable guards tightly seals the cable joint after installation
- For armoured cables, a solderless grounding system is used. The tape-armoured cable joint kit includes a flat ground conductor and one constant-force spring for installing the ground conductor onto the cable armouring tape
- The cable joint heat shrink tubing is made of UV-resistant and weather-resistant materials
- The cable joint kit is universal and can be used both with crimping and bolt lugs
- Installation tools: PG propane burner, NMB-6 tool kit for snapping sheer bolt heads and installation of shear bolt connectors
- Manufactured as per Technical Requirements TU 3599-006-97284872-2006
