Tinned crimp lugs as per GOST 7386-80
Type: TML (GOST 7386-80)
- Designed for crimping copper cables and wires
- Material: grade M2 electrical copper
- Plating: electrolytic tin plating (climatic category: “T2”)
- Operating voltage: up to 35 kV
- ”KVT” is the only plant in Russia that produces cable lugs in all standard sizes as per GOST 7386-80
- High-quality tin plating with bismuth alloying additives guarantees reliable protection of the contact joints against corrosion. Matte tin-bismuth tin plating sets the “KVT“ products apart from lugs with cheap shiny tin plating manufactured in Southeast Asia
- 85 items in two climatic versions
- The lug barrels manufactured as per GOST are designed for flexibility class 5 and 6 cables and wires. We recommended to use a special table to choose a necessary lug size when installing standard flexibility class 2 and 3 copper cores.
- Standard size stamp and the manufacturer's logo on each lug
- The mandatory chamfering and tumbling procedures eliminate burrs and facilitate insertion of the cable core into the lug
- After stamping, the tips are annealed to increase the material plasticity
- Special series of high-precision MW-shaped dies for crimping of lugs and cord end terminals according to GOST requirements The dies are compatible with “KVT” hydraulic presses
- The process equipment and punch tools for the manufacture of “KVT” lugs are developed and produced at the instrument-making workshop of the plant
