Copper-aluminum end sleeve cable crimps
Type: DIN (TU 3449-017-59861269-2004)
- Designed for jointing aluminum and copper cores by crimping
- Material: grade AD1 electrical aluminum and grade M1 copper
- Operating voltage: up to 10 kV
- The copper and aluminum parts of the sleeve are connected to each other by friction welding and provide contact of metals at the molecular level
- The sleeves have an internal partition that helps determine how deep the cable cores have been inserted and acts as an oil lock
- The design of GAM “KVT“ sleeves provides for transition of the line from a thicker aluminum core to a smaller copper core while maintaining the ampere load
