The bolted connectors are designed for jointing conductive cores with a cross-sectional area of 25-240 mm. sq. rated for up to 35 kV. The connector is installed on the core by screwing the bolts with a hex key, the bold head snaps off when the specified torque is applied. The connectors provide reliable jointing and conductivity as per GOST 17441-84.
The connectors have an internal structural partition that acts as an oil lock for cable cores with oil-impregnated paper insulation.
The connectors are made of grade B95 and D16T1 duralumin alloys.
One such connector can be used several cores of different standard sizes.
For cables with copper cores, connectors and brass bolts tinned by electroplating are used.
